Jacorey Garrett is a dedicated senior at JCM High School. Actively involved in choir, track and field, and serving as class president, Jacorey embodies leadership and passion in everything he does.

With a keen interest in Science, Foreign Language, Visual Arts, Physical Education, and Business, Jacorey has big dreams for his future. He aspires to become a cardiologist and is also considering a career as a traveling nurse. Recently, he’s developed an exciting new goal of starting his own business, exploring what he would like to sell and how to bring his vision to life.

Looking ahead, Jacorey hopes to be a successful doctor and small business owner by the time he reaches the age of his parents. His drive to help others in the medical field is deeply rooted in the inspiration he draws from his mother, who was kind, strong, and always willing to assist those in need.

One of the most significant influences in Jacorey's life has been his graduation coach, Ms. Kara Reeves. She supported him in a very dedicated way, showing him the power of resilience and compassion.

Describing himself as hardworking, determined, and, maybe sometimes, an overthinker, Jacorey believes that his determination and a bit of luck are his superpowers. He values the friendliness within his community of Jackson, which he sees as a significant strength.

However, Jacorey acknowledges the challenges many in his community face, particularly regarding financial stability. He believes that higher-paying jobs could enhance the quality of life for everyone. For himself, the biggest challenge in achieving his goals after high school lies in finding scholarships to support his journey into the medical field.
