Ruthie Bray is a Junior Fellow representing South Side High School. She is a creative, resourceful and empathetic leader who is a skilled artist and strong independent worker. She is a key contributor on the yearbook staff. She is also a member of BETA Club and the FFA. Ruthie particularly enjoys math, language arts and visual arts. Having a wide range of interests, her dream professions would be either an architect or a paleontologist. Ruthie believes some of Jackson’s biggest strengths are its diversity, community events and strong business opportunities. She sees challenges in the areas of drugs and gang violence. Ruthie also sees a big need for improvements as personal and nuanced as mental health as well as issues as collective and general as improving road conditions.
