Mark in 3 words: religious, bold, energetic

Mark is a Junior Fellow from JCM Early College High. He is highly driven, bold, outgoing and motivated to make the world a better place. Mark is passionate about loving, helping and serving others especially in one-on-one settings. He sees a big need across the community for others to be brought together and connected across a wide range of groups and situations. As an idea creator he believes in the power of small groups to do big things for the community. This is an important foundation for Mark in his role with the Jackson Grown Leader Fellowship.

Importantly he recognizes the role that teachers have played in his growth and learning over the years. Mark believes “people are heroes when they do right as life gets tough. They are people fight for others making the word a better place.” Mark has a wide range of interests and can imagine himself being a number of things including a writer, thinker, explorer, inventor, athlete or actor.
