Meet Kemora, a dedicated junior at South Side High School. With a strong focus on Math and Physical Education, Kemora is driven by her aspirations for the future.

Kemora is considering a range of career paths, including real estate, becoming a third-grade teacher, or pursuing her passion for cooking as a chef. Her dreams reflect her desire to make a meaningful impact in her community.

The most inspiring figures in Kemora’s life are her mom and God, who provide her with guidance and support. She also credits her fifth-grade teacher as a significant influence, appreciating the special role they played in her education and personal growth.

When describing herself, Kemora uses three words: smart, observant, and respectful. She believes that being reliable is one of the greatest strengths in her neighborhood and the wider Jackson community.

However, she recognizes challenges that many face, particularly the struggle to meet everyone’s needs simultaneously. For Kemora, her biggest challenge after high school is navigating the journey to becoming a successful woman, as she works to define her path and achieve her goals
