Javieon has a diverse range of interests, including Language Arts, Performing Arts, Visual Arts, and Physical Education. His artistic talents shine brightly as he dreams of becoming a successful and well-known author and artist. Additionally, he is drawn to the idea of becoming a psychological therapist, providing support and a listening ear to those in need.

When asked about his future, Javieon shares his aspirations: “By the time I reach my parents' age, I would love to be financially stable, own a house, and have a loving family.” His goals reflect a deep desire for stability and connection.

The most inspiring figures in Javieon's life are his friends and family, who continually motivate him to pursue his dreams. One mentor who stands out is his fifth-grade teacher, Steve Webster. “He helped me break out of my shell when I was a very quiet child,” Javieon recalls. This experience taught him the importance of encouragement and belief in oneself.

Javieon plans to finish his last semester at Jackson State during the Fall of 2025. Afterward, he hopes to spend a year gaining work experience before applying to Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU). Thinking through his goals—whether to jump straight into college or take time to work—he remains determined to chart a path that feels right for him.

Javieon recognizes the strength of his community in Jackson, particularly its sense of togetherness. However, he also acknowledges the challenges faced by many, including finding decent-paying jobs and the rising costs of living. Safety is a significant concern, as many community members feel uneasy attending events due to fears of violence.

Despite these challenges, Javieon believes that Jackson does well in keeping its residents informed and fostering community support through various local organizations. He envisions a future where safety and stability can be improved for all.
