Da'Quavion is a Junior Fellow from Liberty High School. He is a dynamic and engaged student, deeply involved in his school’s FFA program, where he consistently brings fresh ideas to enhance both the program and the school’s culture. He views the Jackson Grown Leaders Fellowship as a great opportunity to see how his ideas can benefit not only the school but the larger community as well.

With strong interests in Science, Performing Arts, Physical Education, and Sports, Da'Quavion envisions a future as an athlete but also considers a career in science or as an entrepreneur. Described as fun, intelligent, and athletic, he believes his unique superpower is his ability to uplift those around him, always encouraging and motivating others to reach their full potential.

Da'Quavion draws inspiration from everyone in his life in different ways but credits his FFA advisor and former agriscience teacher, Mr. Cherry, for teaching him invaluable lessons about FFA and science since his freshman year.

In reflecting on the strengths of his community, he believes that the people of Jackson have a deep passion for their respective fields of work. Despite acknowledging the barriers that people face, Da'Quavion remains determined to achieve his goals and help others achieve theirs.

As a behind-the-scenes coordinator, idea creator, team member with specific tasks, and promoter, Da'Quavion is ready to tackle challenges head-on, knowing that his ideas and enthusiasm can play a significant role in the future of his community.
